Xfm is better then the playlist we have instore but I’ve realized now it’s like a british version of krock. Awesome but repittive. Strike that krock was awesome to me when they played the  furious frank at five on Fridays. Ya that was like the best part of my drive going to see my rents for the shabbath. But same complaint about krock as xfm why listen to that when you had NPR or kxla or that Pasadena public radio I mean really now why krock when there isn’t even indie 103.1 anymore and whats his name from the sexpistonl steve isn’t on air anymore and henry rollins is on NPr

Mean how many times can I listen to that new gallager band, or lana del rey every day.

Let alone the fact we stock his pretty green label.

Music tv may be dead but radio will live on just as print/written word will  through new technologies.

This is my first and definitely not last tattoo. It was done my Angelo Tiffe at Scorpion’s Den in Davenport, IA.
NPR has been a big part of my life since my freshman year in high school. It has kept my involved with the bigger picture, the world news, and the idea that honest reporting can be a reality. NPR also, especially for a kid in high school, signified my uniqueness and how mature people think I am for my age.

Monday: Former CIA operatives (and husband-and-wife) Robert and Dayna Baer know how to scan a crowd for assassins, how to use a gun, and how to escape when someone ambushes a car.
But old habits die hard: Robert says that when he’s driving, if a car stops short in front of him, he always still looks for where he’s going to ram the car.

Dear @@@@,

I’m sending you this email because you are a loyal and valued supporter of public media. Recently, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to eliminate Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) funding for public media and it is now up to the Senate. If this measure passes, this would mean KCET would lose millions of dollars from our operating budget

Today, your support is more important than ever. CPB funds provide an important share of KCET’s funding, and helps us, as your independent public media resource.

So what could we really lose if the government cuts funding for KCET? We could lose the shows that expand your children’s minds, the documentaries that open up new worlds to you, the news programs that keep you informed on global events and cultures, and the quality, thought-provoking programs that expose you to science, travel, theater, history and much more.

You need KCET, and now KCET needs you. Stand up for public media and donate to keep KCET’s independent spirit alive!

Thanks for responding quickly,
